Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a general score of 97.6, which is much better than the Xperia 1's 82.6 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Fold design is way heavier but thinner than Xperia 1, and they were released with only a couple months difference. Xperia 1 features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot better pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia 1, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Fold features a little faster CPU than Xperia 1, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has greater battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh. Samsung Galaxy Fold takes clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger diafragm aperture, a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and faster 60 fps video frame rate.
Galaxy Fold costs a lot more money than the Xperia 1, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
