Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is a lot better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a 97.6 score against 77.5. Galaxy Fold's design is notably newer and just a bit thinner, but a lot heavier than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Galaxy Fold counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Fold also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy Fold features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite greater display pixels density, a higher 1536 x 2152 pixels resolution and a bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Fold captures clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger back camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality, better video frame rate and a much bigger camera aperture.
The Galaxy Fold counts with a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has better battery performance than Galaxy Fold, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
