Comparison review
Galaxy Fold is way better than Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a general score of 97.6 against 78.2. Galaxy Fold's body is noticeably thinner than Xiaomi Poco M3, although it's extremely heavier and was released about 14 months before. These phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10 version, so it counts with some extra features and performance improvements.
Galaxy Fold and Xiaomi Poco M3 count with really similar displays, because although the Xiaomi Poco M3 has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 8 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a really longer battery life than Galaxy Fold, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Poco M3 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
