Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a score of 97.6, which is a lot better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's overall score of 81.1. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10. Although Samsung Galaxy Fold and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were released with only a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Fold construction is notably heavier but noticeably thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The Galaxy Fold has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a display that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Fold one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a little worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better display density.
Galaxy Fold has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a way smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP and a much larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a couple features and specifications.
