Both devices in this comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 3 has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Grand Max has Android 4.4.4, offering some extra features. Although it's the best device we compare here, the Galaxy Note 3 is an older, just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker device than the Galaxy Grand Max.
