Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is slightly better than Galaxy J5 (2017), getting a 77.5 score against 71.8. Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is an older and a bit heavier phone than the Galaxy J5 (2017), but Asus was able to make it just a little thinner anyway. Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe features a little more vivid display than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a greater pixel amount in each inch of screen, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quite larger screen.
Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe features a bit better CPU than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has 4 less processing cores (although faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a much greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures, it also counts with a camera in the back with a much better resolution and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Galaxy J5 (2017) and Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe both count with similar battery durations.
