Comparison review
HTC One M9 is just a bit better than the Galaxy J5 (2017), having a score of 77.7 against 71.8. HTC One M9 is a noticeably older and somewhat thicker cellphone than Galaxy J5 (2017), but HTC made it a little bit lighter anyway. The HTC One M9 has a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the HTC One M9 also has more RAM, a 64-bit CPU and a graphics processing unit.
The HTC One M9 has a much sharper display than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a much better 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The HTC One M9 counts with slightly more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
The HTC One M9 shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a lot tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much better resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy J5 (2017) features a little longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 6 percent more battery capacity.
