HTC U11 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), getting a global score of 77.6 against 71.8. HTC U11's design has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), but it is just a bit heavier. The HTC U11 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the HTC U11 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The HTC U11 counts with a much better display than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a little bit bigger screen, a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much greater amount of pixels per inch of screen. HTC U11 counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has an external SD slot that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
HTC U11 shoots clearer videos and photos than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a back camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the HTC U11 also counts with a much better (4K) video quality. Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) and HTC U11 have really similar battery durations.
