The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), with a 78.7 score against 71.8. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is a little heavier but a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much better display than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a little larger screen, a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
