Although the Motorola edge is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), it's somewhat thicker and heavier. The Motorola edge counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a larger display, a better screen density and a much better 1080 x 2340px resolution.

Motorola edge counts with a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. The Motorola edge captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way more MP camera in the back and a much better 3840x2160 video quality.
