The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a global score of 79.6, which is better than the Galaxy J5 (2017)'s global score of 71.8. Xiaomi 12 Pro is a much newer phone than Galaxy J5 (2017), although it's just a little thicker and noticeably heavier. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a lot better looking display than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a lot better display pixels density, a larger display and a much better 1440 x 3200 resolution.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) features a lot better hardware performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro shoots way better photographs and videos than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much better video quality and a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
