Xiaomi Mi 6 has a global score of 76.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy J5 (2017)'s 71.8 overall score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Galaxy J5 (2017) were released with only a couple months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 6 design is just a little heavier but just a little thinner than Galaxy J5 (2017).
The Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have a same size display, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has a way better number of pixels per display inch and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920. Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a 12% larger battery size.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a lower resolution back facing camera and a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much better (4K) video definition.
