The HTC One M9 has a score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J6's 73.7 general score. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also a lot older, thicker and just a bit heavier. These phones come with Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has the previous 5.0 version and Galaxy J6 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The HTC One M9 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy J6, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and more pixels per display inch. The HTC One M9 has a faster processor than Galaxy J6, and although they both have 8 processing cores and 3 GB of RAM memory, the HTC One M9 also has a GPU and a 64-bits processor.
HTC One M9 counts with a better camera than Galaxy J6, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video definition, a much higher resolution back-facing camera and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors. Galaxy J6 features just a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy J6 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy J6 has just a bit better battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 6 percent greater battery capacity.
