Motorola Moto G9 Play is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J6, getting a 76.7 score against 73.7. The Motorola Moto G9 Play construction is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy J6's, although it's somewhat thicker and much heavier. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Motorola Moto G9 Play has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy J6 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Galaxy J6 features a bit more vivid display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 720 x 1480 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit higher pixel density. Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games than Galaxy J6, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Moto G9 Play features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy J6, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Moto G9 Play also has a greater amount of RAM. Moto G9 Play captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy J6, and although they both have the same video definition, the Moto G9 Play also has a back facing camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution, a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and video, higher video frame rates and a way larger back camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and photos.
Moto G9 Play has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy J6, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
