Both of these devices have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy J6 has Android 9.0 Pie. Although the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is noticeably older and just a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy J6, it's construction is still just a bit thinner.
