Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Galaxy J6, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 73.7. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 Premium has older 5.1 version and Galaxy J6 has Android 9.0 Pie. Xperia Z5 Premium is an a lot older and heavier phone than Galaxy J6, but Sony could make it just a little thinner anyway.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy J6, and although they both have 8 CPU cores and 3 GB of RAM, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has an extra GPU. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better looking screen than Galaxy J6, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 3840 x 2160 resolution and way more pixels per inch of screen.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy J6, because it has a lot larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger camera aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited environments, a much better video definition and a back camera with a way better 23 mega-pixels resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy J6 features a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy J6 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features just a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J6, because it has a 3430mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
