LG V30S ThinQ is much better than Galaxy J7 (2017), with a general score of 82.5 against 73.5. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has the previous 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. LG V30S ThinQ's construction is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy J7 (2017), even when both were only released with a few months difference.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 3 GB more RAM. The LG V30S ThinQ features a much better display than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a bit larger display, more pixels per inch in the screen and a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.

LG V30S ThinQ has much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has 112 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG V30S ThinQ features just a bit better camera than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a back facing camera with more megapixels, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
