OnePlus 8 Pro is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), getting a score of 77.2 against 73.5. The OnePlus 8 Pro body is way newer, but a little heavier and a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017). The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a superior performance than Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a larger display, a way better resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a higher pixel number in each inch in the display.
