Galaxy Note4 has a score of 77.6, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 (2017)'s general score of 73.5. Even though Galaxy Note4 is incredibly older and a little bit thicker than Galaxy J7 (2017), it's construction is still just a little lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Note4 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a little bigger screen, a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.

Samsung Galaxy Note4 features a bit better processor than Galaxy J7 (2017). Both of them have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory. Galaxy Note4 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory.
