Galaxy S6 Active has an overall score of 80.9, which is much better than the Galaxy J7 (2017)'s 73.5 general score. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 Active has older 5.0 version and Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy S6 Active is a somewhat thicker but notably lighter phone than the Galaxy J7 (2017).
The Galaxy S6 Active features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels amount in each inch in the display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Galaxy S6 Active has a more powerful CPU than Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also has an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processor.
