The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), getting a 79.8 score against 73.5. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a way better display than Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a way better resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a lot higher screen density. Xperia Z5 Premium features a better storage to install applications and games than Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a SD card slot that allows 56 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has an additional graphics processor.
