Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a general score of 76.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy J7 (2017)'s score of 73.5. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the TCL 20 Pro 5G has an older 11 version and Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The TCL 20 Pro 5G design is extremely newer, but thicker and a little bit heavier than the Galaxy J7 (2017).
TCL 20 Pro 5G features a little more vivid display than Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a quite worse pixel density, it also counts with a larger screen and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The TCL 20 Pro 5G has just a bit better performance than Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
TCL 20 Pro 5G shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light captures and video, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video resolution and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a very superior storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB and more internal memory.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
