Xiaomi 15 has a general score of 80.6, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 (2017)'s global score of 73.5. Xiaomi 15's design is a lot newer, but a little heavier and a bit thicker than the Galaxy J7 (2017). Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi 15 has older 14 version while Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Xiaomi 15 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a higher resolution of 1200 x 2670, a larger screen and a quite higher screen density. Xiaomi 15 features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy J7 (2017) counts with a way better hardware performance than Xiaomi 15, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi 15 features a much better camera than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a lot better 50 megapixels resolution camera, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and a lot better video definition.
The Xiaomi 15 has a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has 5400mAh of battery capacity.
