Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has an overall score of 83.8, which is better than Galaxy J7 (2017)'s 73.5 score. Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is newer than the Galaxy J7 (2017), it's just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a bigger screen, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a better processor than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a back-facing camera with a worse resolution and a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way better video quality.
Galaxy J7 (2017) has just a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
