Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a score of 80.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 (2017)'s 73.5 general score. Both of these phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro construction is newer than Galaxy J7 (2017)'s, but it is a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy J7 (2017), and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy J7 (2017), because it has a just a bit higher pixel amount in each inch of screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a quite larger display.
