Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is newer than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), it's a little heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has an older 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
