The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a little bit better than the Galaxy J7 (2017), having a general score of 76.6 against 73.5. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is extremely newer than the Galaxy J7 (2017), it's just a little heavier and thicker. These phones have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has older 10 version while Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017). Both of them have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory.
