IPhone 7 has an overall score of 81.6, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018)'s 72.5 overall score. IPhone 7's construction is thinner and a lot lighter than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), despite of the fact that it was released only 22 months before. IPhone 7 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater count of pixels per screen inch and a little bit higher 750 x 1334 resolution.
The Apple iPhone 7 features just a little better performance than Galaxy J7 (2018), although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), they both have a 2 GB RAM memory. The iPhone 7 features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) has a way better battery performance than iPhone 7, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 1960mAh. Apple iPhone 7 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a back facing camera with less MP and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Although iPhone 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy J7 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy J7 (2018). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 7, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy J7 (2018), giving up some specifications.
