IPhone XS is better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), having a general score of 84.2 against 72.5. IPhone XS's body is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), even when both of them were released with only 2 months difference. The iPhone XS has a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has less cpu cores (although faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a 64 bits processor.
IPhone XS counts with an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a little larger screen, a way better resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels and a much greater display pixels density. Galaxy J7 (2018) features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone XS, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
Galaxy J7 (2018) features greater battery performance than iPhone XS, because it has a 24% more battery size. The Apple iPhone XS shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a lesser mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot higher video quality and a larger camera sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures.
Although Apple iPhone XS is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy J7 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy J7 (2018). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Apple iPhone XS, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy J7 (2018), giving up some features and specs.
