Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 (2018)'s score of 72.5. Although the Huawei Mate 8 is extremely older and a little heavier than Galaxy J7 (2018), it's body is still just a little thinner. The Huawei Mate 8 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a little bit larger display and more pixels per inch of screen.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 8 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with a more MP camera in the back and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 8 counts with superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a 21% greater battery capacity.
