The Huawei P30 has a global score of 81.7, which is better than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018)'s 72.5 overall score. Even when Huawei P30 and the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) were released only 9 months apart, Huawei P30 is thinner and just a little bit lighter. Huawei P30 features a little better performance than Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P30 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Huawei P30 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a little bigger screen, a much better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a way higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display. Huawei P30 features a way better camera than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light images and videos, it also counts with a much better video quality, a way better 40 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lot bigger back camera sensor.
The Huawei P30 features just a bit more memory for apps and games than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei P30 counts with a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has 3650mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy J7 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy J7 (2018). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei P30, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy J7 (2018), giving up a couple features and specifications.
