Moto G5 Plus has a score of 74.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018)'s 72.5 global score. Moto G5 Plus is an older and thicker device than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), but Motorola managed to build it lighter anyway. The Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a sharper display than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a lot higher number of pixels per inch in the screen.

Moto G5 Plus has just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Moto G5 Plus features a bit superior processor than Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus also has a higher amount of RAM.
