Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy J7 (2018)'s 72.5 global score. The Galaxy Alpha is a a lot thinner and much lighter phone than the Galaxy J7 (2018). The Galaxy Alpha features a little better processing power than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has lesser cpu cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with an extra GPU.

Galaxy Alpha counts with a better display than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 720 resolution, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with a little higher pixel quantity in each display inch. Galaxy Alpha shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a way tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking photographs and videos in low-light environments and a camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

The Galaxy J7 (2018) has a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy J7 (2018) also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy J7 (2018) has a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
