Galaxy Note8 is much better than Galaxy J7 (2018), getting a score of 83 against 72.5. The Galaxy Note8 is a just a little heavier cellphone than the Galaxy J7 (2018), but both of them have the same thickness. Galaxy Note8 features a much sharper display than Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a lot better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution, a bit bigger screen and a way better pixels count per display inch.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a battery performance that is very similar to the Galaxy J7 (2018) one. Galaxy Note8 shoots clearer videos and photos than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a camera in the back with a worse resolution, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Note8 also counts with a way better video resolution and a bigger back camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.

The Galaxy Note8 costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
