Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is much better than the Galaxy J7 (2018)'s 72.5 general score. Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better phone than the Galaxy J7 (2018), it must be told that it's also heavier and notably thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more powerful CPU than Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much more vibrant display than Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a little bit larger display, a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and way more pixels per screen inch. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 64 GB internal memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a superior camera than Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution, a much higher video resolution and a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a 3540mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), giving up some specs and features.
