Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy J7 Max's 76.1 score. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version, offering some additional features. Although the Huawei Mate 20 is newer than Galaxy J7 Max, it's a bit thicker and just a little heavier.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a bit worse count of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2244px resolution and a quite larger display. The Huawei Mate 20 features a quite bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy J7 Max. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
