Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's 76.1 global score. Even though the Huawei Mate X is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, it's way thicker and incredibly heavier. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a just a bit higher screen pixel density, a much better 2200 x 2480 resolution and a really bigger display. The Huawei Mate X has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate X and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max both count with quite similar cameras, because although the Huawei Mate X has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. Huawei Mate X has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate X counts with improved battery performance than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
