Samsung Galaxy M12 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, getting an 80 score against 76.1. The Samsung Galaxy M12 construction is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's, although it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M12 has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
Galaxy J7 Max features a sharper screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a greater pixel density. Samsung Galaxy M12 counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB.
Galaxy J7 Max features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M12. They have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. Galaxy M12 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking pictures and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution.
Galaxy M12 has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
