Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M13 has older 12 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat. Samsung Galaxy M13's design is notably newer, but just a little thicker and just a little heavier than the Galaxy J7 Max.
