The Galaxy M20 has an overall score of 78.9, which is just a bit better than Galaxy J7 Max's score of 76.1. The Galaxy M20 design is newer than Galaxy J7 Max's, although it is a little heavier and a little thicker. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M20 has 10 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The Galaxy J7 Max features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M20. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM. Galaxy M20 counts with a screen that is just as good as the Galaxy J7 Max one, although the Galaxy M20 also has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a little greater pixel count in each display inch and a bit larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy M20 have really similar cameras, and although the Galaxy M20 has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light images and video, they both have the same video frame rate, the same video quality and a 13 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy M20 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy M20 has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 52% greater battery capacity.
