Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Max, with a score of 81.2 against 76.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 3's body is just a little bit lighter than Galaxy J7 Max, but it is just a little thicker and was released many years before. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a brighter screen than Galaxy J7 Max. Both have a better pixels number per screen inch, a same size screen and the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080. Galaxy Note 3 features a little bit better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has an external memory slot that allows 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
