Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's 76.1 general score. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an older 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat. Despite of the fact Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is older and just a little bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, it's design is still just a bit thinner.
