The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is a bit better than Galaxy J7 Max, with a 78.7 score against 76.1. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has an older 12 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro's body is newer than the Galaxy J7 Max's, although it is somewhat heavier and thicker.
The Galaxy J7 Max features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quite smaller display and a just a bit lower pixels count in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy J7 Max has a much faster processor than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a camera in the back with much more MP and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity.
