The Xiaomi Poco X2 is slightly better than Galaxy J7 Max, having a 79.3 score against 76.1. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Poco X2 has older 11 version while Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version. The Xiaomi Poco X2 construction is newer than the Galaxy J7 Max's, although it's just a little thicker and heavier.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 features a CPU that is just as good as the Galaxy J7 Max one, and although the Xiaomi Poco X2 has more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Poco X2 features a screen that's very similar to Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's screen, although the Xiaomi Poco X2 also has a bigger screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a just a bit better screen pixels density.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way higher video definition and a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Galaxy J7 Max features more memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Poco X2 has better battery life than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 36% greater battery size.
