Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is slightly better than the Galaxy J7 Max, with a global score of 76.6 against 76.1. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the previous 10 version and Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's design is noticeably newer, but somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker than the Galaxy J7 Max.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a display that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's screen, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bit better pixels number per inch of screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit larger screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much more megapixels back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
