The Google Pixel 8 Pro has an overall score of 80.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2's 75.3 overall score. Google Pixel 8 Pro is a way thinner and noticeably lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but Google Pixel 8 Pro has the previous 13 version while Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Google Pixel 8 Pro features a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a bigger screen, a much better resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a higher amount of pixels per display inch. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 features a lot better processing power than Google Pixel 8 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster).
The Google Pixel 8 Pro has much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Google Pixel 8 Pro counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a 55% greater battery size.
The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 8 Pro, although it has a back camera with lot less mega pixels resolution.
