These phones use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so both should give identical operating system features. The LG G8 ThinQ is a just a little thicker but a little lighter cellphone than the Galaxy J7 Prime 2.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has more pixels per screen inch, a little bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
