The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, with a 78.1 score against 75.3. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a bit larger screen, a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a greater pixel number per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's camera is very similar to Galaxy J7 Prime 2's camera, and although the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a back facing camera with more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate. Galaxy XCover 5 has much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
