Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than the Galaxy J7 Prime 2, with a score of 82.6 against 75.3. Despite being the best in this review, the Sony Xperia 1 is a a bit thicker and just a bit heavier phone than the Galaxy J7 Prime 2. The Xperia 1 has a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 also has more RAM.
The Xperia 1 counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a lot greater display pixel density, a larger display and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Xperia 1 counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage.
The Xperia 1 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because although it has a less mega pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor, a bigger aperture for better photography and video in low-light situations and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Xperia 1 has a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery duration in Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, although the Xperia 1 also has a 1% bigger battery size.
