Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, with a 78.6 score against 75.3. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a heavier and somewhat thicker phone than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2. Both devices we compare here use Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has an older 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a higher amount of RAM. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a little higher amount of pixels in each inch of display, a bit larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2160.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 400 GB and more internal storage capacity. Xperia XA2 Plus shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking images and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution, a lot bigger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality and a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has an 8 percent larger battery capacity.
